Revitalization and promotion of minorities cultural patrimony in Oltenia in the context of cultural diversity (the 2nd of April 2015)

The project Revitalization and promotion of minorities cultural patrimony in Oltenia in the context of cultural diversity, identification number LLP116/08.04.2014, funded in the Program PA17/RO13
“Promotion of diversity in culture and art in European cultural patrimony ”, SEE Grant implemented by University of Craiova through The Faculty of Letters in partnership with The Institute of Ethnography and Folklore ”Constantin Brăiloiu” of Romanian Academy and Norwegian Institute of Theology in Oslo, Norway between 2014-2015 continues the promotion activities of specificity elements of minorities’ culture in Oltenia.
Thursday, the 2nd of April 2015, University House in Craiova, Calea Unirii, No. 57 will take place a new intercultural evening, where are invited to participate the representatives of Albanian and Hebrew minorities in Oltenia.
The interactivity moments will be followed by artistic moments sustained by The Assembly of Albanian League Association in Romania- Branch Craiova.
The theme of the intercultural evening circumscribes to the central theme of the events conducted in the community in this project: cultural diversity and the ethnicities cohabitation in the spirit of a concord.
The project offers equal cultural chances for all ethnical minorities in Oltenia through pertinent promotion of each of them. The project sustains the cultural diversity through the appearance of the first interdisciplinary study which is found, in the mirror, the past and the present of each ethnical minority (Bulgarians, Greeks, Hebrews, Czechs, Armenians, Albanians, Serbians, gypsies) as multiple identities through: traditions, habits, approach of education and society from intercultural point of view. The project develops cultural services which arouses the interest for the artistic phenomenon among all the minority cultures.
